Good intentions, flawed execution

The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping, providing convenience for travelers. Spacious areas in the common spaces enhance relaxation, making it appealing for families. Variety in the breakfast options was a nice touch, perfect for busy mornings.

The front desk staff were often distracted, leading to frustrating delays at check-in. Cleanliness issues such as dirty linens and a malfunctioning key system marred the experience, detracting from the hotel's otherwise welcoming atmosphere.

The location was convenient, close to restaurants and activities, making it perfect for family adventures. However, the initial room was dirty with leftover trash, and staff responsiveness was lacking, which made the stay less pleasant. Overall, it could have been better managed.

Room cleanliness fell short of expectations upon check-in. crumbs and uncleaned surfaces were noticeable, even a mystery stain in the shower left me uneasy about hygiene. Breakfast supplies ran out quickly, leaving us without essentials like yogurt and milk. The breakfast area seemed chaotic, with items not restocked in a timely manner. Finding toiletries like toilet paper was a bit of a scavenger hunt, as housekeeping didn't appear promptly. Lastly, consistent issues with access keys had us locked out at inconvenient times.

Family with children getaway

The outdoor pool was a big hit with the kids, they spent hours splashing around. The breakfast spread-strudels, eggs, pancake machine-was something straight outta a culinary dream, I couldn't get enough.

The price was a bit steep, but I suppose you pay for quality.

The pool was unusable during my stay, and the remote control was dirty with limited channel access.

i had a good stay at holiday inn express & suites charlotte southwest. the property is conveniently located and seems recently built, which is always a plus. the outdoor pool was a fantastic feature for my family, especially for the kids. breakfast was solid and consistently stocked, making mornings easy!
